Power Supply is completely enclosed - safe to touch. The wires coming out of it are all low voltage DC and enclosed in plastic connectors - safe to handle.

Big square board with mounted parts is Motherboard  (Mobo  for short).

Everything plugs into Mobo; expansion boards and memory go into slots,
drive cables go into cable connectors.
CAUTION: you can ruin electronics by touching exposed, uninsulated parts. When handling exposed electronic parts, ALWAYS touch the metal case with your fingers and/or tools before touching electronic components - this discharges static electricity that builds up on your body, clothing and tools and makes you and the components equal in polarity.
The drives are all held in place by screws usually two on each side of the drive. These screws must be removed to remove the drive.
